Arizona: 2017 Session Adjourns
May 11, 2017

Lawmakers adjourned the 2017 legislative session late yesterday after approving $10 million in income tax credits for certain small business investors, a restoration of two-year eligibility for welfare benefits, and a measure to consolidate election dates. Legislators also approved a $9.8 billion state budget and financial incentives for manufacturers.

Governor Doug Ducey (R), who does not possess a pocket veto, has until May 22 to sign or veto legislation that reaches his desk.
